More Carter pictures..........

So I feel like I post a ton of pictures of Carter. But he is already changing so fast that I just want to make sure I keep up. I can't believe that 5 weeks has gone by already. Logan loves his little brother.

With 3 small children my life has been busy to say the least. I wouldn't have it any other way though.

Weekend Pictures

We had a pretty busy weekend. On Friday night we had our annual "The Roof" dinner his parents always take us to. And the picture below is us at Ben's work party we went to the E center for dinner and hockey. The kids love to hold Carter and they always want me to take a picture.

I can't believe how big Carter is getting. He is a month old now, time just flies. He is a strong little boy he already trying to lift and hold his head up, he starting to talk and goo too. When he is done sneezing he always makes this cute goo sound after. And I just love, love, love those chubby cheeks!

On Friday we went over to visit my Grandma Pebley. We just love her so much. The kids had alot of fun showing off for her and just playing around. We also got to see her cows too which they always enjoy.

Christmas Candies!

Me, my Mom, my sister's and our kids got together yesterday for our annual Christmas candy making extravaganza! We have been doing it for four years now, it is so much fun and something to look forward to every year. Addy, Autumn and Brylee helped alot too! Boston mostly wanted to eat everything as usual.

Happy Birthday Ben!

Happy Birthday honey! Today is Ben's birthday, last night we celebrated it with Boston's. I made him a mud pie ice cream cake, it was delicious!! I hope you have a great day, I love you SOOO very much!

Happy Birthday Boston!

I can't believe my little guy is already 2! His birthday was Saturday but we celebrated it yesterday. We had both sides of our family come over for some cake and ice cream. Boston LOVED when everyone sang him the Happy Birthday song! He had a smile from ear to ear. He was so cute, he even blew his candle out all by himself!

I try to make all of our kid's cakes. It turned out pretty good I guess.

He got alot of great gifts for his big day. Thank you to everyone! We got him a basketball hoop/ball for him but somehow we didn't get a picture of it!

Goodbye B..........

Boston has 2 binkies (which he calls his B) left and Friday night they were both missing. We looked EVERYWHERE for about an hour and no luck. I told Ben lets just put him to bed and see how it goes. He ended up going right to sleep and then waking up 3 times in the middle of the night asking for it. But I would just tell him it was lost and rub his back and he would go right back to sleep. Since then he has asked for it everyday but I just tell him it is still lost. He has done really well and I wasn't planning on taking it away so soon after I had the baby, but I was for sure not going to go buy more! I actually did find one of his binkies, but we're going to look really good to make sure he's not the one who finds the other one.
Really now that I think of it, I am sure he was ready to be done with it. It was more of my addiction, I was always afraid he would be hard to put to bed or be really whiney for it. He never had it other than nap time and bed time anyway. I am SO excited that it's gone though!! Goodbye Mr. B

I finally got some sleep.........

Well after four nights of only 3 to 4 hours of sleep, last night Carter finally let me get 8 hours! (really) They were broken up by nursing him of course but at least I got that. I can't believe how great I feel! What a cute little guy huh. A couple of nights ago he opened his eyes really good and I got these pictures. I just can't believe how much love you can have in you heart. I love my family SO much and there is just so much more for Carter. It's amazing how much I already love and adore him. I worried when I was pregnant how I would make 3 small children work and how hard it might be. But honestly I don't feel that way at all. I just feel like we have been waiting for him to complete our family.

On Sunday when we were leaving the hospital we found out we would have to come back up the next day to have another bilirubin test done on Carter because his was a little high. So when I had him tested again it was still high so they had to order the lights for him. In the above picture he is using his biliblanket. And below is his bilibed. It has taking some getting used to but I am just glad he's ok.

I would like to say thank you to my husband, he has been such a great guy to me. Escpecially because I am such a miserable pregnant person. He has had alot to put up with and I know I don't give him enough credit. I love you Ben and I hope you know how much I appreciate all the wonderful things you do for me and our family.

These are the beautiful flowers he gave me in the hospital. I've never seen any that color before. Thank you to everyone (too many to name) who has helped us, and for all the great gifts as well!

Our new addition!

We had our little baby Carter on Friday night. He weighed 7 lbs 8 oz and was 20 1/2 in long. Everything went really well and he is a healthy boy! There is just nothing like holding a brand new baby!! Isn't he just SO cute!

Cleaning, Dancing & Playing

In the last couple of weeks I have had NO energy to clean but I decided I better start detail cleaning today since really the baby could come any day now. And after I have it comes I know I won't have time. So every time I get out the cleaning supplies I have the two best helpers around. Today Boston knew we were gonna get down and dirty so he even put on his saftey glasses! When we clean Brylee usually cleans up all of the toys off the floor and in her room and Boston pretends to mop. Such good little helpers I have!!!

Brylee has really gotten good at her tumbling in the last couple of weeks. She can do strattle rolls, front spring rolls and cartwheels all by herself. She's still working on the handstand though!

When she gets home she always wants every one to try what she learned (not me of course). We all get a good laugh about it because all the boys really have no tumbling ability what so ever. But they all will try just to entertain her.

This is just a cute picture of the kids. They like to crawl over the top of Brylee's bed to get on the window ledge. So when my sister Shauna was over here the other day she moved the bed for me so they don't break an arm or something.

Explanation

I thought that I better make a post to explain why I have asked some of my fellow bloggers to change our name on their blog list. I watched the news a couple of nights ago on KSL about the dangers of blogging. Since then it has made me think about things a little bit and I have decided to take my last name entirely out of my blog.
Problem is that when changed it in my settings, if you didn't rename my blog on your list, it still says our last name even though I have changed it on my blog. Does that make sense? I assume if you deleted us and put us back on it would change. But instead I thought it would be easier to ask all of you to just rename us to Ben and Trisha, well, because it seemed easier to me. I just wanted to clarify that. I didn't mean to bother anyone by this. It is just I don't want to go completly private. But I did want to make sure that if someone by chance was creepy and wanted to find us they couldn't. Thanks again to everyone for taking a minute to do this for us!!

Happy Halloween!!!

Last night on Halloween me and Ben invited everyone from both sides of our family over for some yummy chili. Almost everyone came, and it was great. It was alot of fun seeing everyone come over dressed up too. Kami and Scott (Ben's sister and her husband). They won best dressed in my opinion.

My sister Mikka who had to work but came over earlier to help me decorate. Thank you Mikka!!

Thank you to everyone who came, it was alot of fun to spend time with both of our families. I'm glad all were in good spirits and dressed up!

Then after dinner everyone headed over for our ward "Trunk or Treat". This is Boston and Brylee's friends Quinn and Avery. If you look close you can see that Bry has a sucker stuck in her crown thanks to Boston! They are always full of suprises that make us laugh!!
