our Easter weekend

We went to Hooper park for their Easter egg hunt, it was chilly but fun nonetheless. Here is Bry and Boston with Mr. and Mrs. Easter bunny (Carter and Logan were way done by this point)! All of their goodies...

Carter getting ready for the hunt! He actually did really good this year picking up his own eggs, he's getting too big too fast!

Later we dyed our Easter eggs.

We sat the Easter bunny out some carrots a glass of water and a cookie that Brylee frosted.

Easter morning was super fun, the kids ate way too much candy which made for a (not so super) sacrament! Later we went over to Ben's parents for a delicious ham dinner and a fun "clue style" Easter egg hunt. Despite all of us having the cold bug we had a great day, and it's always the best to have Logan on the holidays and have our family be complete. I love you all so much!!!

Flowrider

This last weekend Ben and Logan got to go surf at the flowrider in Ogden. Logan had been before but it was Ben's first time. They were pretty sore the next day but said they still had an awesome time. Here are a couple of pictures. Logan is such a natural athlete!

Aren't these the cutest Easter cookies you ever did see?!?!
Good job guys, I had tons of fun making these with you!

FHE fun

Easter is my most favorite holiday because it reminds me of the sacrifice our savior made for us and it means warm weather is on it's way! Tonight for family home evening we talked about the true meaning of Easter and made these fun bird nest treats. The kids did a great job at making their own nests. It was super sticky but actually fun and easy!

Aren't they the cutest little things you ever did see!

New pets

We sure have some cute little pets around this house! A precious kitty A pouty puppy
And a hoppity frog
Don't you just love fun towels!? My kids sure do!

Trampoline

We got the kids a trampoline for Easter this year and gave it to them early because...WE HAVE SPRING FEVER horrible around here!

Ben and Logan were awesome at setting this thing up because the kids were super eager to break that baby in! And they literally spent the rest of the day on the tramp! It was a big hit!

Thanks Daddy and Logan!

Treehouse Field Trip

Today I got to go with Brylee to her the Treehouse Museum for a school field trip. It was lots of fun and I took way too many pictures!!! They got to act out a fun play.

Brylee got to be a bunny, unfortunately my camera or me wasn't working when she did her part darn it. Then we went to a guy who told them stories then they got to make magical wands, super fun stuff!

The part she was most excited about...babies!

They all wore these green tie dyed t-shirts. It was quite helpful for rounding them up!

Another one of her favorite playtime's...school!

Cozy in the tepee

Doesn't she look so cute in this mad hatter's hat...LOVE it!

I had a wonderful time with you Brylee and I hope to do fun stuff like this over and over again!

FaMiLy PiCtUrEs

Finally, an updated picture of our entire family! The last one was a year and a half ago...yikes!
The kids are changing so much and getting tons bigger! Last Sunday the kids were being silly so I snapped some pictures of them. Even Chewy joined in the fun!

Brylee has gotten so big lately. She got her hair cut into an a-line and I love it! She's been doing awesome in school and is reading books really good now, she's memorized poems, learned all about money and has become a word-find addict! Last week for her homework she actually wrote her first book, good job Bry!
Boston and his cute smile. He has by far the biggest imagination of any the kids, maybe he'll write books or something! He has been learning lots too. He knows he's entire alpahabet, their sounds and all about money thanks to Bry's homework! Boston is as excited as ever to go to Teacher Vicki's next year for preschool!

My little Carter monster has grown up way to much lately. He's talking lots more now and is finally getting to the age were he's listening a little better! He is still a HUGE mama's boy, it doesn't bother me at all in fact I would be perfectly happy for him to be a baby forever!!!
Love you guys so, so much!

Logan's guitar

This semester Logan has been taking guitar. So ever other weekend I get to hear him play, which I LOVE! He's getting better every time I hear him too! I can't wait until he's able to play me an entire song, way to go Logan keep practicing!!!

sleepy head...go to bed!

Last week Carter had this thing were he didn't want to sleep in his bed. He got over it thank goodness. Kitchen island must of looked awful comfy?! This is how we found him one morning. He climbed up to the top bunk with Boston, too cute!

chalkboard crazy

When Ben was gone goose hunting in Colorado in January I started these chalkboards for the kids room. Last weekend Ben got around to framing them, yeah!! And he even fixed our broken tiles (they've been broke for 3 yrs. I might add, which only adds to my excitement) in the kitchen...HOORAY! The kids love them and play school just about everyday!

Young Women's

This is a picture from our "New Beginnings" activity last Thursday. It was one of the funnest, for sure! It was sports themed, the girls did cute cheers, we played a fun game and had a super cute snack stand. We definitely went out with a bang because...last Sunday the Young Women's presidency got released! I have absolutely loved being a part of the Young Women's organization! It was a super sad day, it was the hardest I've ever cried in front of that many people in my life but I just couldn't seem to pull myself together!!! I will truly miss EVERY SINGLE THING about this calling. And to be honest, I'm just not ready to let go yet. We were SUCH a close group...as Breanna put it we went together like peanut butter and jelly! I love these girls and leaders so much (yes, I know I'm not moving across country!) but it is such a busy calling and we really did spend tons of time together. I am so thankful for the opportunity Heavenly Father gave me to be a part of this great group for three years.
*And hopefully this feeling of being lost will go away soon!

Meet the Jazz!

Yesterday Ben took Boston to meet the Jazz players. Here is Boston, Memet Okur and A.K. What a hoot they are...I love this picture!!! Al Jefferson, Ben said he's really friendly and personable. He also got the coach to sign a basketball card he had of him when he played for the Jazz in 94'. Coach Corbin stared at the picture for a long time, laughed and said, "Man, I'm all knees in this picture I don't think I could run like that anymore!" It was kind of special Ben said he talked to him just like anybody else...I already like him!

This is the Jazz's new player they traded Deron Williams for, I think it's Favors or Harris...not sure!

Raja Bell and not sure!

Well these two had a grand ole' time! They were both gleaming from ear to ear when they got home!!! Ben gave me a play by play of the entire evening too...whew. I'm sure glad my boys had awesome time though!!

Birthday lunch

Last Saturday my sister's took me out to lunch for my birthday. We had a yummy lunch at the Greenery at Rainbow Garden's then we went shopping. It was a fabulous day...I honestly could do that every Saturday for the rest of my life..ha, ha!!! Thanks Shauna and Mikka for making my birthday extra special this year! I love you both!!!

Goose hunting in Colorado

Ben's Dad took him on a goose hunting trip to Colorado for a couple of days. Ben had a great time and it was a much needed break from the everyday grind! Lots of dead geese...yum!
Thanks Kel, I know how much Ben loves hunting with you!
