Dragons...

The other day at Walmart I found these cute jammies. I thought it would be fun to get the little boys them. Aren't they just the cutes dragons you ever saw! Watch out here they come!

Monster boy!

Does this look familiar? At about the same age Boston climbed in Brylee's kitchen sink except he was a little bigger and was crying because he couldn't get out. Carter however thought he was pretty darn cute! And I did too, oh how I love my monster!

Brylee's Kindergarten Checkup

Last week Brylee had to go get her Kindergarten checkup. She was pretty excited for the shots thanks to her preschool Teacher Vicki telling the kids she'd give them a prize for getting them. She was really brave but in the end it was more than she could take....they just plain hurt! Poor girl she cried, and they were really sore for a couple of days. She had a little bit of a reaction to them and still has welts on both legs. Good job Bry, we're super proud of you! She passed her exam with flying colors, here is her stats.

Height: 45 inches ~ 90%
Weight: 41 lbs ~ 60%

I can't believe my baby girl is going to Kindergarten.......Sigh.

Las Vegas

Last weekend we headed for a Caldwell family get together in Las Vegas to visit Chris and Lani. It was a much needed vacation for all of us. Friday we went to a park that had an a place that they could play frisbee golf. I have never heard of it but they all seemed to enjoy it. After the boys all went and shot trap and skeet.

Here they are playing.

Then we headed over to the resort Chris and Lani booked us. It was beautiful, and the pools were heated..bonus! Later on Saturday all the brothers went over to see the final college basketball playoffs. They had hoped they'd get to see BYU play but they lost out the day before but they still had fun.

Logan jumping through the waterfall

Logan throwing Brylee in the Lazy river pool

Thank you Kel & Cheryl for arranging this get together and Chris and Lani for all the hard work you did buying and preparing meals it was really thoughtful and we appreciate it. It was very relaxing and I didn't want to come home especially when we lost about 30 degrees on the drive home..brrrrr!

A delicious evening

In January we took Boston and Brylee for a special day to Farr's Fresh they LOVED it...who wouldn't! They have soft serve ice cream and custard that you serve yourself then you can put your own toppings on too. Delicious!!!

Before & After

Today Logan got his BRACES, YEAH! He was actually excited for his braces he has been looking forward to straightening his teeth.

BEFORE
AFTER This is such a great picture and I'm sure Logan is just so darn glad I took it, ha ha! Anyway here is Dr. Price working away.

Logan called me about 2 hours after I dropped him off at school to tell me that a bracket was already off! Ugh...so after school we went right back over after being there already 2 hours this morning. He came out about 30 min. later or so and said I think that there's another one off. Soooo at his point in the day it's close to 4 pm, I'm hungry, tired and in a bad mood. I lost it just a little....ok.. maybe a lot, tears WERE shed. Have I mentioned I've been a bit emotional lately anyways needless to say I spent entirely WAY too much time at the Orthodontic office today. But it was all worth it for that metal smile!!!

Carter is 15 months!

Carter is now fifteen months old! I can't believe it!!! He's such an adorable little guy and has such a cute personality. And one thing's for sure...he is growing up way too fast!
Here is his stats:
Weight: 24lbs 3 oz ~ 45 %
Height: 33 inches ~ 90%
He is sooo funny!

I just love him more and more every day!

Cupcakes

This week our family home evening was on the love so we ordered some heart pizza's from 5 buck pizza. Aren't they cute and greasy! After dinner we frosted cupcakes for the treat, yum-mo! Logan frosted the chocolate, Brylee the pink, and Boston did sprinkles, it was quite a production line.

The final product, beautiful!
Carter was our taste tester!

And the verdict......DELICIOUS!!!

Fun making pizza's!

Last week we made little individual pizza's out of frozen rolls. The kids LOVED it so much, it was really so much fun...and easy! Spreading sauce
Yum!

Carter woke up just in time to eat...smart boy! They were delicious and this is something we'll for sure be doing again.

What we've been doing.....

December was crazy with the holidays and family and so far this month we've just been enjoying being somewhat back to normal! Here are the kids playing "superhero" with their blanky capes! Having a movie day with their favorite Christmas present, their new blankets and pillow cases Grandma Caldwell made them.
After church I wanted to get a picture of the kids in their Sunday clothes but Boston quickly took his shirt off. We choose our battles around here so I took it anyway!

Brylee is getting so grown up. Everyday I think, is she really four? She acts so grown up and is loosing her baby look...it makes me sad! I love this little girl, she definitely brings some much needed girliness to this house!

Merry Christmas!

We always have Christmas Eve with my family and this year we decided to do a little talent show it was short but cute. All the kids sang a Christmas song and my niece Addy did a couple cartwheels. They were really cute and did an awesome job! Next we did our nativity scene while my BIL Justin read the scriptures. Carter got to be baby Jesus!

Here's they are, next year we'll have to get animal outfits since they all wanted to be donkeys and cows this year instead of wise men.

Their Christmas jammies!

Brylee sprinkling her reindeer dust on the lawn so they would know where her house was!!!

This year they made Santa a chocolate sucker and I borrowed some cookies from our dinner party. They also thought Santa should have hot chocolate since as Brylee put it "Santa will get plenty of milk!"

Boston was actually really excited he was just getting really impatient to open his gifts! He came into our bedroom that morning and was SOOO excited that Santa ate and drank everything it was really cute.

chaos........

This year Logan along with my brother and sister got a automatic (scary) airsoft gun. He was extremely happy that he got it, later that night they had a war Ben and Dina against Tyrel and Logan. I don't understand the fascination of hurting each other but they had fun so that's all I care!

We all got spoiled as usual this year, I really enjoy the holidays. I hope everyone else did too!

A trip to see santa, the lights and urgent care....hooray!

Last night we made a trip to see the Ogden City lights, it was more beautiful than I remember it ever being. It was freezing but SO much fun!!! Carter had a chauffeur, secretly Logan loved sliding him through the snowy sidewalks!
Boston was adorable with Santa this year he told him he wanted a bicycle, motorcycle and a choo- choo train.

And for the first year Brylee willingly got on Santa's lap. Thanks to preschool this year she's gotten over her stranger anxiety, whew! She told him she wanted a camera, a baby and a barbie that you can paint her nails

Carter made this face the whole time, too cute!

Logan was a good sport and told Santa he REALLY wants an air soft gun.

Such a magical time of year, I love it!

Afterwards we headed home for some yummy hot chocolate. And as I was making it the kids were running around the island in my kitchen as my brother Tyrel was chasing them. Boston caught his foot on the stool and head dived into the corner of the cabinet!!! It was quite a scare for everyone, he had a really bad gash. So we rushed him up to urgent care right before they closed...whew! And the Doctor gave him 7 stitches, he was very brave! I am so proud of him for being such a good boy I know it was really hard for him. And I am just glad he's ok, he about gave me a heart attack!!!
Not such a happy guy, I can't blame him though.

He's very happy to have a spiderman band aide can you tell?! Ahhh, I love you buddy and don't ever scare me like that again...PLEASE!
