Carter's eighteen months

Yesterday Carter went in for his 18 month checkup here are his stats
Height: 34.5 " ~ 90%
Weight: 26 lb. 10 oz. ~ 55%

He's been such a fun little boy to get to know. I can't believe what a Mommy's boy he still is. Mr. Carter is also a very picky eater, he mostly likes potatoes and bread...must take after his Mom! And he's very expressive with his face, here are just some of his faces. He doesn't say many words quite yet, he does say: Momma, Dadda, wow, hungry, good, duck, dog, and of course ouch! This is the face he makes when he says WOW!

This is my favorite face, he's so funny. I just love him to pieces!

Our eggs have hatched

Last week our little robin's eggs hatched. Everyone was really excited, it's been fun watching them grow. I am however hoping they get a little cuter! Their Momma feeding them.

If you look to the right of my door you can see her nest. It's been a fun and interesting conversation piece when people come to the door!

FaRm DaY

On Friday Brylee's preschool had a field trip to a dairy farm. It was very dirty and stinky but they loved it! Being the great Mom that I am, I somehow managed to forget Carter's shoes. Luckily a very nice and prepared Mom had an extra pair of boots in her car! And Carter just loved tormenting this cow!

This baby cow was just born that morning...how cute!

Boston liked the pigs the best he even got them to come over to him.

This was Brylee's last day at school. She is going to miss her teacher terribly.

Happy Graduation!

Saturday was Brylee's preschool graduation. We are so proud of her she's done so well this year! Teacher Vicki is probably one of the cutest ladies I know. She's a fabulous teacher and had them do these darling dances!

Thanks to all who could come and to Kel and Cheryl for the super cute skirt she's wearing. Cheryl is a fantastically talented woman always making the best things for everyone! And to my Mom for the necklace she got her too!

We love you Bry, you're everything sweet and kind about our little family!

Mr. and Mrs. Doctor

Don't they just look the part, cutest darn doc's around!

Happy Mother's Day

The noblest calling in the world is motherhood. True motherhood is the most beautiful of all arts, the greatest of all professions. She who can paint a masterpiece, or who can write a book that will influence millions, deserves the plaudits and admiration of mankind; but she who rears successfully a family of healthy, beautiful sons and daughters whose immortal souls will exert an influence throughout the ages long after paintings shall have faded, and books and statues shall have decayed or been destroyed, deserves the highest honor that man can give, and the choicest blessings of God.
-David O. McKay

So far been a great day, thank you for all the thoughtful gifts!

We have a visitor...

A cute little robin has decided to make our front porch her home. And she laid eggs!
I am actually kind of excited I've never experienced egg hatching before. The kids are looking forward to it, I just hope we don't drive her too crazy! Hopefully this means Summers on it's way!

Sandbox

This year one of our big projects was to put in a sandbox under our deck for the kids. It was a lot of sweat and hard work. It looks so much better, and the kids absolutely LOVE it! Thank you Daddy you did a great job, we love you!

Happy Birthday Brylee

Yesterday morning Brylee got to open her birthday present from us. She was a little sleepy still because we had to do it before Ben went to work. It was worth it because she LOVED her present!!! She requested french toast for her birthday breakfast. Her and Mommy's favorite!

And for lunch we got to go McDonalds with Daddy!
Happy Birthday Brylee we love you so VERY much, you are such a sweet girl. I can't believe that you are 5 years old it seems like just yesterday I was holding you in my arms!
