MeRrY ChRiStMaS!

I just love Christmas, it's one of my favorite holidays. We started off by making Santa Clause sugar cookies. We do this every year but this year I let Logan be in charge and the kids did it all by themselves. They did a great job and Santa ate all of his cookies so I am sure they were way yummy!!
I put Boston down for a nap so he didn't get to frost the cookies. But Logan and Brylee made them look scrumptious
Later that night we had Christmas Eve dinner at my Mom's house. We did our Nativity Scene while my Justin read the Christmas story out of the bible. Brylee was a wisewoman, Addy was Mary, Logan was Joseph, Boston was a wiseman, Quinn was a little wiseman, Autumn was the angel and Carter was baby Jesus. You can't see him in this picture but he was cute just the same. It was my favorite part of the night because it's what Christmas is really about.
When we got home my Dad read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" to our family on speakerphone. He lives in Montana and doesn't get to do much with them around the holidays. This was my family tradition growing up and I thought that it would be fun to do with ours. The kids thought it was neat and I think my Dad enjoyed it the most.

Christmas morning the kids holding their stockings. They were extremely excited for Santa this year. So Logan and Brylee started by getting us up at 2 o'clock in the morning! And we finally gave in at 6 o'clock.

This picture is sooo funny Brylee just loves makeup so when she pulled this out of her stocking she was really excited!!

They got really spoiled as usual. And this isn't even the stuff they got from grandparents. Ben got me a really nice diamond wedding band to go with my wedding ring. And I got Ben a 10/22 rifle. It was a great Christmas this year.

Christmas afternoon we went over to Ben's parents house for dinner. And his Mom had us all take family pictures. I'm not sure why but I thought it was worth putting in.

Lot's of snow and shoveling!!!

So thanks to the snow we finally got an opportunity to get out of the house. We have all had this nasty cold that's been going around. Bry and Boston are starting to get better and stir crazy as well! So out we went. I got to shovel the and the kids got to play.
It was inevitable that Carter would get our colds too. He started to sound really bad with a deep cough, so yesterday I took him to the doctor as a precaution with RSV season coming up. And he said his lungs sounded good but he has an ear infection in both ears! :( Poor guy, I feel so bad for him. Ben has been in Vegas on top of it all so it's been a struggle to keep up on things. Like shoveling! But it's done and I'll have to admit it was alot of fun, now if it would only stop snowing!!!! (at least on my driveway)

This is my sister Dina pushing Brylee down a little path they made for the sled. Boston always love to help his Mommy.

And a stop for a bite of snow!

More Carter pictures..........

So I feel like I post a ton of pictures of Carter. But he is already changing so fast that I just want to make sure I keep up. I can't believe that 5 weeks has gone by already. Logan loves his little brother.

With 3 small children my life has been busy to say the least. I wouldn't have it any other way though.

Weekend Pictures

We had a pretty busy weekend. On Friday night we had our annual "The Roof" dinner his parents always take us to. And the picture below is us at Ben's work party we went to the E center for dinner and hockey. The kids love to hold Carter and they always want me to take a picture.
I can't believe how big Carter is getting. He is a month old now, time just flies. He is a strong little boy he already trying to lift and hold his head up, he starting to talk and goo too. When he is done sneezing he always makes this cute goo sound after. And I just love, love, love those chubby cheeks!
On Friday we went over to visit my Grandma Pebley. We just love her so much. The kids had alot of fun showing off for her and just playing around. We also got to see her cows too which they always enjoy.

Christmas Candies!

Me, my Mom, my sister's and our kids got together yesterday for our annual Christmas candy making extravaganza! We have been doing it for four years now, it is so much fun and something to look forward to every year. Addy, Autumn and Brylee helped alot too! Boston mostly wanted to eat everything as usual.

Me making my peanut butter balls.

My Mom's famous picture face. Everytime you try to take a picture of her she always pulls some awful looking face. So I decided to put it on anyway so that maybe she will see it and maybe smile for pictures next time! :)

Peanut Butter Balls, Yum-O!

Easy Turtle's they are way yummy!

And what we do every year; chocolate covered cinnamon santa's and pretzels. What a delicious tradition!

Happy Birthday Ben!

Happy Birthday honey! Today is Ben's birthday, last night we celebrated it with Boston's. I made him a mud pie ice cream cake, it was delicious!! I hope you have a great day, I love you SOOO very much!

Happy Birthday Boston!

I can't believe my little guy is already 2! His birthday was Saturday but we celebrated it yesterday. We had both sides of our family come over for some cake and ice cream. Boston LOVED when everyone sang him the Happy Birthday song! He had a smile from ear to ear. He was so cute, he even blew his candle out all by himself!
I try to make all of our kid's cakes. It turned out pretty good I guess.

He got alot of great gifts for his big day. Thank you to everyone! We got him a basketball hoop/ball for him but somehow we didn't get a picture of it!

Happy Birthday Bosty! I love you SOOO much!
